Peak’s PlasmaBlade technology includes disposable cutting devices that allow for precision and bleeding control with minimal thermal tissue damage.
Medtronic also announced plans to acquire Portsmouth, N.H.-based Salient Surgical Technologies Inc. on Thursday for a value of $525 million.
